The Client

The Opportunity

With flexible working hours, you'll collaborate closely with a welcoming team and report directly to the Finance Manager. This role offers a diverse array of tasks, including managing debtors, creditors, inventory, and payroll. Additionally, occasional travel to the breathtaking Cape York awaits. As the Financial Accountant, you'll support the team, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and facilitate audit requirements. About You;

• Qualification/s in Accounting (Diploma or Higher)
• Experience in Local Government (Finance) and an understanding of Local Government legislation and awards.
• Experience in maintaining financial systems and processes.
• Advanced computer literacy with ability to manage and operate accounting software such as Synergy and Microsoft Office software (Advanced skills in excel).
• Clear national criminal history check or ability to obtain.
